Veristra Asset Intelligence (“Veristra”, “the firm”, “we”, “our” or “us”) makes this website available subject to these Terms of Use (“Terms”). By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of this website.
1. Use of This Website
This website provides general information about Veristra and our services. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes, and not to interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access to any part of it, or transmit harmful or unlawful content through it.
2. Nature of Our Services
Veristra provides Individual Asset Tracing (IAT) and Company Asset Tracing (CAT) reports, prepared entirely through digital-first, desktop-based research across government-backed and proprietary record sources. We do not undertake physical verification, surveillance, or field investigation of any kind.
Findings in every report are categorised strictly as confirmed or indicative, in line with the evidentiary standard of the underlying source. Reports reflect only what is available in the accessed records at the time of search; they are not a certification that no other asset, interest or record exists. The scope, timeline, fees and deliverables of any specific engagement are governed by the written confirmation exchanged for that engagement, not by this website.
3. No Legal, Financial or Investment Advice
Content on this website, and the reports we deliver, are provided for informational purposes to support your own due diligence, recovery or litigation-support process. They do not constitute legal, financial or investment advice, and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any decision. You should obtain independent professional advice appropriate to your specific circumstances.
4. Lawful Use of Our Services
By engaging Veristra, you confirm that you have a legitimate purpose and lawful basis for requesting a search — such as due diligence, recovery, litigation support, or risk assessment — and that you will not use our services or any report to harass, stalk, discriminate against, or otherwise cause harm to any individual or entity. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue any engagement we reasonably believe is not being sought for a legitimate purpose.
5. Confidentiality
We treat every engagement, including the identity of any search subject and the contents of any report, as confidential, and will not disclose it to any party other than the client, except where required by law or necessary to protect our legal rights.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos and design — is owned by or licensed to Veristra. You may view this content for personal, non-commercial reference only, and may not copy, reproduce, or distribute it without our prior written consent. Reports delivered as part of an engagement are licensed to the client for their internal and professional use in connection with the matter for which they were commissioned, and may not be resold or redistributed without our consent.
7. Accuracy and Limitations
We take reasonable care in conducting each search, but official and public record databases can be incomplete, delayed, or contain errors outside our control. Veristra does not guarantee that a report is exhaustive or free of such underlying inaccuracies, and makes no warranty beyond the evidentiary standard disclosed for each finding (confirmed or indicative).
8. Third-Party Links
This website may link to third-party websites for convenience or reference. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy or privacy practices of any linked site.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Veristra and its personnel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of this website or reliance on its content. Liability in connection with any specific engagement is governed solely by the terms of the written confirmation for that engagement.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Veristra against any claim, loss or liability arising from your misuse of this website, breach of these Terms, or unlawful use of any report or finding we provide.
11. Privacy
Use of this website and our services involves the collection of certain information, handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which should be read together with these Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute arising from them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of this website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, which will carry a new “Last updated” date.
Disclaimer
Veristra is a desktop-based research service. We do not undertake field investigation, surveillance, or direct contact with any search subject. Reports are prepared from publicly and officially accessible records as available at the time of search, and findings are presented strictly as confirmed or indicative in line with the evidentiary standard of the underlying source.
